Kathy Ceceri was thrilled to finally get her hands on the Robotics activity book she's worked on for the last year. She's been busy presenting hands-on workshops featuring projects from the books to libraries in Upstate New York all summer. Her first book signing is Saturday at the Schenectady Museum, where kids can learn to make a Mini Robot Walker or build their own Robot Hand. In other news, the galley of the upcoming Geek Mom book also arrived. So much fun to see her crafts and projects on the printed page!
Corrina wrote up her adventures in California at the Romance Writers of America conference last month. Her conference included much fun with friends and signing with a new literary agent. She also posted about the five hottest couples on the movies at the Beyond the Veil blog. Hint: a science fiction couple is at the top of the list. Her kids were glad to see her when she returned home and gave her many hugs. She's having a really good week at home too, having heard that the GeekMom Parenting panel was accepted for New York Comic Con in October and that she'll attend a holiday signing at the Turn the Page Bookstore in Maryland to sign copies of The GeekMom book.

Cathé is as excited as Kelly Knox to attend GeekGirlCon and meet another GeekMom this coming weekend. But in the meantime, she is helping her kids recuperate from their summer trips with grandparents in time for another trip next week.
Brigid spent the weekend re-decorating her daughters room. (Thank goodness for IKEA) In between painting walls and assembling furniture she managed to find time to add some designs to her new Digital Scrapbooking shop on Etsy.
Natania is still in a post-baby haze and spent the better part of the week wrangling two children on her own. She has discovered the exponential difficulties. However, since her son is now officially a Brony, she's finally been able to impress him with her drawing skills (honed for many years in the 80s). Her son is appreciative beyond measure, and is planning to hang the drawings in his room. Even if he does insist that Rainbow Dash is a boy.
