In the competitive automotive climate, luxury car makers are always looking for ways to differentiate themselves. Cutting-edge performance, high-quality materials, top-of-the-line comfort, and modern safety features are the minimum. Audi’s next generation roster is designed to go beyond what’s expected.
For Audi Canada, the path to luxury is innovation, and the brand aims to bring its vision of the future of driving with new electric technologies. The automaker’s upcoming lineup is intended to breathe new life into its brand ethos of Vorsprung durch Technik, or progress through technology, with fresh design, UI/UX, driving dynamics, and efficiency. Over the next 18 months, Audi Canada will release 12 new models, including eight all-new fully electric vehicles, and its legendary quattro technology all-wheel-drive will come standard in every single one.
The new lineup redefines luxury, performance, and mobility across Audi Canada’s entire portfolio, from its sedans to SUVs and sports cars. A few of the most coveted models are the all-new A6 e-tron, Q6 e-tron, and the redesigned A5 and Q5.
Redesigned Icons: The A5 and Q5
Canadians spend many hours every week in their vehicles, and Audi Canada’s new models are intended to make that time feel better spent. At the core of the updated versions of the A5 and Q5 is a commitment to interior design that’s intended to create a more engaging experience for everyone in the vehicle, whether that’s the driver or the passenger.
Audi Canada has reimagined one of its best-selling vehicles and is re-introducing it as the all-new A5. The sophisticated A5 is longer and wider than its predecessor, and combines elegance with performance and advanced technology. Drivers will appreciate the functional and sporty ride, larger interior screens and lighting, and increased efficiency—it’s one of the new, more efficient combustion engines that enable partially electric driving and is made at factories that are designed to be more efficient and sustainable.
Audi Canada’s most popular luxury SUV, the all-new Q5, features a revamped design and updates that enhance its appeal with new driver-assistance technologies and improved connectivity. The Q5’s all-wheel-drive and responsive seven-speed S-tronic transmission means it can take you wherever you need to go.
Innovative Design and Technology: Introducing the A6 and Q6 e-Tron
The fully electric A6 e-tron leads the way for Audi Canada’s electric vehicles. The upper midsize electric sedan uses Audi’s Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, a platform that’s engineered to enhance performance and efficiency, and supports impressive range capabilities and integrates advanced technology.
For those making the switch to electric now, the A6 e-tron offers an antidote to range anxiety—fear that the car will run out of battery before reaching a destination—with a 100 kWh battery capable of delivering an incredible 500-plus kilometers of range. The A6 e-tron also has fast charging capabilities and a luxury interior designed to be driver- and passenger-centric.
The 2025 Q6 e-tron is a sleek, athletic SUV that also delivers fast charging—it can charge from 10 to 80 percent in 22 minutes—and also has 494-plus kilometers of range while packing 456 horsepower.
Evolution of Engineering and Performance
Audi Canada’s e-tron series has continued to evolve, with each new model building on the success of the previous ones. The first fully electric e-tron was released in 2019, and the newest RS e-tron GT performance is one of the most powerful vehicles the automaker has ever made. It boasts quick acceleration of 0-100 km in about 2.5 seconds, 912 horses of raw power, and precise engineering.
“The RS e-tron GT performance is a groundbreaking achievement in our Audi Sport and electric vehicle lineup, showcasing how Audi EVs are not boring and can hold their own,” Felix Enciso, head of product planning, Audi Canada.
Elsewhere in the lineup, the Audi RS 3, known for its powerful performance, makes a highly anticipated return to the Canadian market in 2025. The reimagined RS Q8, infuses the iconic Audi SUV model with racing qualities, like 631 horsepower and twin turbos for fast acceleration.
Driving Innovation Forward
Over the last 115 years, Audi has launched vehicles that are focused on performance, luxury, and innovation, and this new suite of vehicles continues that trend. The brand’s commitment to progress includes a focus on finding a sustainable balance of internal combustion engines and electric vehicles, and plans to ramp up its production of zero-emissions vehicles.
With its robust lineup of vehicles—including the A5, Q5, Q6 e-tron, and A6 e-tron—Audi Canada aims to differentiate itself in a highly competitive luxury market and offer drivers innovative vehicles they can trust, appreciate, and enjoy.
