In the upcoming film, Man of Steel, General Zod will be played by Michael Shannon. Can Shannon trump Terrence Stamp's portrayal of Zod in the 1981 film, Superman II? Angry Nerd is skeptical, obviously.

General Zod will be portrayed by Michael Shannon.
An unnerving presence with a profoundly evil chin,
who also won the most prestigious acting prize there is,
the Saturn.
But can Shannon match Terence Stamp's laconic evil?
